Training and Services / Civil

With more than 140 full-flight simulators in 24 aviation training centers worldwide, CAE serves approximately 3,500 airlines, aircraft operators and manufacturers across the globe. We offer customized training services for pilots and maintenance technicians ranging from integrated programs to deployable ground school capabilities and e-Learning solutions. We have teamed with airlines and original equipment manufacturers to improve services, and offer training solutions for every segment on the market. We currently offer a pilot provisioning service to several airlines, and founded the CAE Global Academy, a groundbreaking alliance of flight training organizations.

Training and Services / Military

CAE provides its military customers with turnkey training solutions as well as comprehensive training support services such as simulator instruction and maintenance at more than 60 locations worldwide. CAE also provides a range of simulation-based professional services to support design, analysis, and experimentation applications. Our military training centers established in the United States and United Kingdom provide comprehensive flight and technical training for operators of multiple aircraft such as the C-130H Hercules, CH-47 Chinook, EH101 Merlin and Puma. CAE and AgustaWestland offer training for helicopter operators at the Rotorsim training centre in Italy. CAE is also part of an industry consortium that recently inaugurated the world's first NH90 training centre in Germany.

CAE is the world's leading supplier of civil flight simulators, with more than 1,000 simulators and flight training devices sold to more than 130 airlines, aircraft manufacturers and training centers. We have simulated almost every modern airliner for both major and regional carriers, as well as many of today's business jets, and have developed more prototype simulators than any other company.

Simulation Products / Military

CAE is one of the world's leading suppliers of military full-mission simulators. Quality and innovation coupled with reliability and service have earned us preferred supplier status with original equipment manufacturers such as Lockheed Martin on the C-130J; EADS CASA on the C-295; Alenia Aermacchi on the M-346; Hindustan Aeronautics Limited on the Dhruv Advanced Light Helicopter; and AgustaWestland on both the A109 and AW139 helicopters. We have designed the widest range of helicopter simulators in the world, and more training systems for the C-130 Hercules than any other company. We are the global leader in rotary-wing and transport aircraft training solutions. CAE provides a range of products and services related to training ground forces, including solutions for direct and indirect fire, close air support, forward observation, driver training, and recognition training. CAE’s Professional Services team is a market-leading technical consulting group providing analytical and engineering services that leverage modeling and simulation and other advanced technologies to develop innovative solutions for clients operating in the most complex environments. Maritime

For its maritime customer, STS can deliver solutions that can train sailors for complex shipboard operating environments. Lockheed Martin’s human performance engineering expertise helps analyze training and develop design to meet customer training output requirements. Lockheed Martin has also delivered Machinery Control Systems to all of the U.S. Navy’s Arleigh Burke Class destroyers for nearly three decades.

Flight

Lockheed Martin’s turnkey flight training solutions provide end-to-end training that includes all pieces of the puzzle – from simulators to platform acquisition, instructors to courseware, schoolhouse management and infrastructure, to logistics and maintenance. Lockheed Martin is developing the training system for pilots and maintenance crew of the F-35 Lightning II, the world’s most advanced fighter jet designed to meet 21st century requirements of the United States and its partner countries. Internationally, Lockheed Martin provides turnkey training programs for the UK Ministry of Defense (MOD) and the Republic of Singapore Air Force. For the UK MOD, Lockheed Martin provides aircrew training services throughout the British armed forces under the U.K. Military Flying Training System. Lockheed Martin also provides training for Republic of Singapore Air Force pilots through the country’s Basic Wings Course, its initial pilot training program.
